rajmno email from the health check - so I guess it's not worked - I don't have the port forwarded so harder to check esp as I'm currently building v4.4.83-cip8  on b@d07:44
rajm... well I was, the vm has just run out of disk space...07:45
patersoncHello rajm. FYI I got an email from the healthcheck.07:51
rajmyes me too - I was obv too pessimistic/impatient07:52
patersonc:)07:52
patersoncOne thing I have noticed, is that the emails just say that the job was 'complete' - not if the test actually passed or not. Unless the assumption is that a test will only 'complete' if it was a success?07:53
rajmthere's 3 (think that's it) possible statuses - complete , incomplete and finished lava2016 only supports notifications for the first 2 - so complete if you look at the lava web interface implies a success07:56
patersoncOkay, thanks :)07:57

rajmit doesn't like building v4.4.83 had another no space left on device "arm-linux-gnueabihf-ld: final link failed: No space left on device" when build exits there's 450M free08:18
*** kristerman has joined #cip08:28
toscalixthis is the kind of errors that we should get. New kernel, new issues :-)08:31
toscalixbwh: you are on fire the last couple of days08:31
rajmNo still getting out of space even when starting with 1.7G free - afterwards 7.6M free http://paste.baserock.org/zukasaxogu08:44
toscalixouch08:46
* rajm goes to find another coffee08:49

rajmthe known issues page (on extra resources) suggests moving /var to a new partition I think /home is more likely to fill up (from the above!)10:59
*** darknighte has quit IRC11:01
toscalixso should we suggest to move both or just /home ?11:03
rajmit depends I suppose how many distinct build on different branches/tags they're doing but they'd have to do a lot to rival /home in the vm I've been using to report to the mailing list I have 2.7G in /home and 0.1G in /var/www11:07
*** darknighte has joined #cip11:13
toscalixthen put the recommendations on both, I think. Do you agree?11:21
rajmok I'll add to that recommendation!11:30
toscalixthanks11:32
* rajm copies the build from that vm (which didn't have lava hence the additional space!) to my daily test vm and cip8 health checks ok there12:01
rajmand I've modified the known issues page12:06
toscalixso it works out of the box?12:08
rajmthe cip8? no I had to do that manual transfer of the kernelci output to the other box, I could look at increasing the size of /home on that daily test vm  but am reluctant to tinker with it as when lava 2017 works it will be discarded12:20
toscalixI see12:29
rajmjust tested 2017 on lachlan's BBB with latest firmware which didn't use to work with the release version and confirmed that it still doesn't with the latest LAVA13:42
toscalixrajm: probably checking with bwh would be a wise move13:50
rajmok will raise at the meeting13:51

* rajm opens #130 to cover the running out of disk space issue (suspects that got lost with transitioned wireless-> wired)15:01
toscalixgrrrr, LF put me as the onñly speaker of the talk with bwh I will write them so they include him, which is in fact, the main speaker15:20
patersonctoscalix it looks like you'll have to manage it yourself! ;)15:30
toscalixnoooooo15:34
toscalixthe same problem applies to our other talk. It seems the app put by default as speaker the submitter of the talk15:35
