tristanmkay, so it works to post on the host itself09:03

tristanOk so, on the same machine, I can curl POST to localhost or to 127.0.0.1 or to 0.0.0.0, the bot receives that POST09:13
tristanOn the same machine, if I POST to 192.168.100.207 (it's IP on the local network), I get connection refused on port 8009:14
tristanOn the jumpserv (intermediate interface to the internet), posting to 192.168.100.207 also gives me connection refused on port 80 (that is the IP I would use to ssh into the box running the service)09:14
tristanon jumpserv, I have the reverse proxy setup so that gnome5.codethink.co.uk routes to 192.168.100.207, that is "known to work"09:15
tristanironfoot, As you can see, I am absolutely clueless about all things networking related, have any ideas ?09:16

tristanok screw that09:41
tristanThe day that ips and networking makes any sense at all, is the day we will have a bot.09:42
tristanironfoot, maybe you have some baserock infra you can use, it's very simple as long as networking crap doesnt get in the way09:55
tristanhttps://gitlab.com/BuildStream/buildstream/settings/integrations to setup hooks, and https://framagit.org/bnjbvr/gitlab-to-irc is the most complete bot I could find, easy to install in a home account, just git clone && npm install (in that directory, not sudo), and node index.js, and you're done09:57
tristananyway /me out09:57

ironfootI think I can make some room for this bot in the baserock infra, yeah11:05
ironfootI'll look at that11:05
