onion123Yes right.08:54
onion123I looks working , there is no error. but I can't see navication08:55

fredcadeteyou could try these commands to understand what is happening: LayerManagerControl get scene, and LayerManagerControl get surfaces08:55
onion123Ok08:55
onion123layer is 1000, surface is 1008:56
onion123screen is 008:56

fredcadeteis the layer visible? does it have a source and destination?08:57
onion123- visibility:         008:57
onion123I tried LayerManagerControl set layer 1000 visibility 108:57
onion123after then LayerManagerControl get surfaces08:57
onion123but still visibility is 008:58
onion123Oh sorry08:58

onion123visibility of surface is 008:58
fredcadeteand source and destination?08:58
onion123it's a result08:58
onion123layer 1000 :  - destination region:   x=0, y=0, w=600, h=400, - source region:        x=0, y=0, w=600, h=40008:59
onion123surface 10: - destination region: x=0, y=0, w=600, h=400, - source region:      x=0, y=0, w=600, h=40008:59

CTtpollardleon-anavi: do you think it's sensible to create a new package group for 'rvi' packages?09:59
leon-anaviCTtpollard, yes, sounds good to me10:10
CTtpollardok, PR incoming10:10

pedroalvarezit looks like the PR pipelines are not working again10:28
pedroalvareznot sure if it's related to genivigo not being a collaborator of meta-genivi-dev10:28
CTtpollardpedroalvarez: do you know it has worked since meta-genivi-dev got 'deleted'?10:44
pedroalvarezI don't think so10:46
CTtpollardthat might be the cause then :/10:47
*** gunnarx has joined #automotive10:47
gunnarxpedroalvarez, CTtpollard: I added the genivigo user back to meta-genivi-dev.  It had disappeared of course, just as you thought11:01
CTtpollard:) ta11:01
*** gmacario has quit IRC11:01
gunnarxon both projects it has read access only.  let's confirm that is enough then we don't have to increase access11:02
toscalixgunnarx: I forgot to added back when I changed the permissions after the loss11:04
*** sanjeev has quit IRC11:06
gunnarxCTtpollard, did we (someone) just change all GDP URLs in Go to point to GitHub?11:33
*** sanjeev has joined #automotive11:33
pedroalvarezgunnarx: you can check the history of the changes in the xml, I believe11:37
gunnarxyes but there is a lot of history :)11:37
gunnarxmaybe we did this a while ago for all pipelines.11:37
pedroalvarezright, I though you only wanted to check the last few changes11:38
gunnarxI just noticed Go reported a lot of fetches were failing.  but those are the non existing branches  qemu-ci, silk, and a bunch of old ones11:38
gunnarxI had paused silk but for some reason Go tried a modification check it seems.   I can see if a few pipelines should be changed or removed, otherwise it can just be ignored for the moment.11:39
gunnarxDo you think qemu-ci branch is now obsolete as long as PR builds work?11:42
pedroalvarezwell, there are som cases where the qemu-ci branch, or something similar may be useful11:45
*** leon-anavi has joined #automotive11:51
CTtpollardgunnarx: not all no11:51
gunnarxCTtpollard, I think all of them are moved actually and I think I am to blame, I just forgot :)11:52
CTtpollardthe biggest problem I mentioned yesterday is when we need to test a series which requires patches in parallel to meta-genivi and gdp11:52
gunnarxMe and pedroalvarez did it last week I think :)11:52
CTtpollardso that's where a %target-ci pipeline could help11:53
gunnarxOK sure. You could keep such a branch for that purpose11:53
gunnarxThe fact that we changed all Go recipes means those pipelines are broken until the branches exist on GitHub but that's no big deal.11:54
gunnarxAnd they are paused - those branches (like silk) are not being updated on the old URL either.11:55

jonathanmawokay, built chbae's branch and noticed that AudioManager had failed a QA check because it had installed files into /etc/systemd/user and /usr/share/audiomanager that it wasn't expecting.13:21
jonathanmawadded those and AudioManager still crashes, so that's one thing I see in need of fixing13:21
jonathanmawthe other is that touch seems to be misbehaving in a new and interesting way - nothing on libinput-debug-events for the device, either.13:22
toscalixjonathanmaw: I believe Audio Manager has not its own public jira project, so maybe open a bug in GDP one and assign it to the maintainer will work. I will make sure they notice it.13:24
toscalixI do not mean now, but when you tacle the bug13:25
toscalixtackle13:25
jonathanmawtoscalix: noted, though it all depends on whether it's a problem on my end or theirs13:25
toscalixI se13:25
toscalixsee13:25
CTtpollardjonathanmaw: I presume that's coming from the new 4.4 raspi kernel (the touch issue) does the patch we carry for it still apply cleanly?13:27
*** Tarnyko has joined #automotive13:29
*** robertmarshall has quit IRC13:30
jonathanmawCTtpollard: I'd be surprised if it came from the 4.4 kernel upgrade, since I tested that. Will double-check13:31
CTtpollard:/13:33
CTtpollardand we're still using the same version of weston + libinput?13:35
*** robertmarshall has joined #automotive13:45
jonathanmawCTtpollard: I think chbae removes weston and libinput because we don't need them any more - there could be some differences we need to worry about there.13:49

leon-anavi https://hangouts.google.com/hangouts/_/koumoul.net/agl13:52
CTtpollardjonathanmaw: yeh agreed we should drop them. I suppose maybe checking everything that we took https://github.com/GENIVI/meta-genivi-dev/commit/e70bccfaf451ae77d9edf0b9d8f5d9e6918f829f against what's in metai-ivi / poky for jethro would be a good start13:54
