rajmpatersonc: have you seen my cip-testing-dev email of this morning yet - I've not got it but am running from an unfamiliar IP so am thinking that my email is being greylisted at the codething email server08:46
rajmemail has just appeared - so the daily health check on BBB reported ok!08:50
patersoncrajm: Yep, job #16508:59
rajm:) yes that one!09:00
rajmI've just updated #186 in view of Loc Nguyen's comment and will do similar tests once I'm back at the office next week09:01

*** toscalix_ has quit IRC12:00
* rajm notes that editing a file in lava-docker/output/local and leaving an emacs backup ~ file means that the docker from compose no longer works and needs re-doing :-( 13:44
rajmerror_msg: Cannot find command '/usr/bin/connectBBB.sh' in $PATH , but its there??!!13:51
rajmor maybe its running in local_lab-slave-0 rather than local_master1 ?13:52
*** toscalix_ has joined #cip14:00
rajmyes that looks to be the case!14:06
*** toscalix_ has quit IRC14:17
* rajm has lava-docker now using our connect script with the BBB and getting the builds from a local b@d image (not a permanent setup!) but it's still timing out, I think, when trying to talk tftp14:53
szlinI met a interesting thing. After sending our dts to mainline kernel, the TI employee suggests us to use phy-handle instead of phy_id which is deprected15:29
szlin[1] https://lkml.org/lkml/2018/8/30/113615:29
szlinHowever, the phy-handle function is buggy in stable kernel 4.4...15:31
szlinI spent some time to backport/ fix it, the backport patches has been sent. Let's wait the review.15:35
toscalixszlin: great to hear. It means you have a "maintenance mindset" :-)16:38
toscalixrajm: sounds like a good progress, isn't it?16:38
rajmtoscalix: I think a small but useful (and necessary!) step16:40
