juergbivalentind: I'm still seeing runner issues :-/ e.g., https://gitlab.com/BuildStream/buildstream/-/jobs/43573604910:07
juergbidroplet count is 60 and the script doesn't find any old runners10:07
juergbiit did find some old runners earlier, though, so I think there is still an issue with droplets staying around too long, but it doesn't seem to be the only issue10:08
juergbiretrying seems to work now, though10:09
valentindjuergbi, I figure out there is actually a cron job that cleans up old runners. So we do not have to clean up manually. The droplets are all but one less than 24h old, so they will not be deleted.10:20
valentindbenschubert, The case for signing is: an element build a bootable image with disk partition. Then we need to sign it. Then we need to create an ISO image with installer that can write that image onto a disk. But it needs to verify the signature of the image. (This is using the Endless OS installer). I want to be able to do this in one "bst build" command without importing things as intermediate step. Of course I could import the private key as a10:23
valentindsource. But this breaks when you do not have direct access to the private key.10:23
valentindTo not break reproducibility, we could make the gpg socket as a source plugin and hash the available key ids as reference.10:24
valentindThen if the signing private keys change, we have a different cache key.10:25
