GuyElpotatoHi, On the AGL guppy RPI image that I downloaded, I want to configure my interfaces can bus, ethernet at the boot of the image. I wanted to use the file /etc/network/interfaces but it is not present and I don't have a service managing the network. Is it necessary to proceed in a particular way ?12:21
smurrayGuyElpotato: AGL uses connman, you should be able to google up some documentation on how to statically configure an interface with it.  I'm not sure it'll handle configuring the can interface, though, it's not really geared towards doing multiple networks.12:25
smurrayGuyElpotato: iirc, currently the can interfaces are explicitly ignored in the connman config12:25
GuyElpotatosmurray : connman can't handle CAN interfaces from what I saw. The only idea I have is to build my image with this recipe in addition12:38
smurrayGuyElpotato: there are some bits in the tree to configure CAN interfaces using systemd12:40
smurrayGuyElpotato: see meta-agl/meta-agl-profile-telematics/recipes-core/systemd/systemd_%.bbappend12:42
rmmrwaltminer: thanks12:42
smurrayGuyElpotato: for a can device that needs slcand to be run, there's an example in the meta-agl-telematics-demo repo12:43
GuyElpotatoOk I didn't see that I'm not very comfortable with AGL image building yet. Thank you smurray I will look at it !12:56
smurrayGuyElpotato: if you're not using the telematics profile, you'll need to duplicate some of those bits somewhere else to get them into an image12:57
GuyElpotatoNo I think I don't use the telematics profile. I have two images one from the AGL website and the other one, I built it myself by following the documentation on the website13:06
waltminerrmmr they changed the IP address. Need to clear browser caches. I actually had to clear and restart browser for it to work13:08
rmmrwaltminer: i'll try in a minute13:08
*** psnsilva has quit IRC13:09
GuyElpotatosmurray, I'll look at your solution but I finally managed to do it by creating a service with systemd13:14
rmmrwaltminer: I can ping the server successfully but I cannot acces it from the browser, I get an ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED.13:20
waltmineryes. I had to clear the cache and restart chrome for it to work13:21
*** vicky_ has quit IRC14:26
rmmrwaltminer: thanks for the tip, i didnt want to clear for all, but it is now working14:45
waltmineryeah same here. I tried to clear as little as possible but I ended up clearing everything14:46
