gkiagiafury: we are currently restructuring the audio stack to use pipewire, so a soft DSP would need to interact with that, either as a pipewire plugin or as a client that is placed between the app and the device in the audio routing graph... In either case, it needs some more discussion for me to understand what you are doing and for you to understand the future design of the audio stack.. Will you join some agl call next week09:47
furygkiagia: yep! Which one would be best?10:10

furyright now the PoC is just being done through qt audio devices and a built in media player, but eventually the idea is just run on all audio output (so if it were a regular ALSA setup maybe by making a loopback for things to output to, and then plugging this into the other side of that loopback for final output to the speakers)10:36
furyI have only a superficial familiarity with 4a, enough to have made a couple new HALs for USB sound cards I was using for testing zones and whatnot10:37
furyrealistically will probably only ever be dealing with up to 4 channels tho, so not super sophisticated10:37

gkiagiaEither the graphics call on monday or the connectivity on thrusday, I think. waltminer knows better. It's still unclear to me which call is appropriate for audio system discussions, I just try to join them all10:51
francesco_kinHi, I am trying to build agl-hello-qml but I have an error about "Project ERROR: Unknown module(s) in QT: qml quick quickcontrols2".13:42
francesco_kinwhere can I find these modules? in agl-sdk?13:42
furyfrancesco_kin: that's my sample project, it was outdated a couple AGL versions ago. I will see if I can take a look later today.13:58
francesco_kinfury: thank you...I am trying to compile it since yesterday...14:02
furyCan you add some more detail in your issue on the GitHub project when you get a chance? How you set up XDS and got the SDK installed, if it's different than the instructions--I'd be surprised if those instructions on the project still work :o14:03
furyI'm about to head to breakfast and then the office, catch you later :)14:03
francesco_kinfury: yes, I can try ;)14:05
francesco_kinfury: I solved! I did a wrong set up...on the github issue I will write my conf if you want update the readme14:56
furyfrancesco_kin: thanks, that would be very helpful!14:56
furybtw were you looking at the master  branch or the updated HMI framework branch? i did kinda leave it hanging without finishing14:57
furylove them 1 year old zombie branches...14:58
*** kbroulik has quit IRC15:00
francesco_kinfury: master...I didn't see the other branch....my goal is to understand how to debug application to know why dashboard and hvac apps don't work on dra7 with 7.0.1 version15:02
furyok--do you mean debugging with gdb?15:05
