paulbarkerHas anyone tried to boot the new flounder release on beaglebone black or know if it's expected to work? I'm having some issues with Weston17:43
smurraypaulbarker: it's not been tested afaik.  Someone else reported an issue on the ml recently, but I've not had a chance to get around to trying it due to pressing concerns wrt CES integration17:48
smurraypaulbarker: in general, I suspect it's going to be a bit unpleasant user experience-wise, the current demo UI is not really geared for low-resource systems like the BBB17:49
paulbarkersmurray: Good to know. I'm failing at an early hurdle due to mode setting and DPMS errors so I think I may need to dig into the SGX graphics drivers further.17:53
smurraypaulbarker: iirc there was a discussion at the recent AMM of potentially adding a profile for less powerful SoCs that would drop some of the UI bits, but that's a ways off17:55
paulbarkerok. I think the questions on the mailing list were probably from Marc who's my colleague on this project18:03
paulbarkerI'll go do some more research and come back if I get stuck18:04

KernelDeimosHello, so I might just be blind (it's happened before), but I've been looking through the AGL documentation and,19:45
KernelDeimos"Development Kit: build AGL image > Inside the Container" in the dev guides (and the section before) never mention where the Docker image can be found19:46
*** alicef has joined #automotive19:47
KernelDeimosbut, more importantly than that, the wiki never even mentions that there's a docker container (ex: https://wiki.automotivelinux.org/agl-distro/agl-raspberrypi). I was following those very instructions and wound up setting up my own Docker image :/19:47

dl9pfpaulbarker: reduce the screen size in weston.ini to e.g. to what the rpi touchscreen has (iirc 800x480), this will reduce footprint. Still it chokes on the rpi with 1GB fast as we eat-up the gfx cma.21:32
dl9pfthe bbb has just 512, so that will be a challenge21:33
